The hotel was built in 1991 and originally owned by the First Nations Community Kingsclear,
New Brunswick. The Riverside Resort & Conference Centre continues its tradition of celebrating
its culture and heritage while providing all the comforts of a modern hotel. continues its

Encompassing six cottages and a main hotel lodge, the resort is nestled on a large, expansive
site that embraces its natural surrounding while providing a rich Fredericton hotel experience.
Architecturally, the Riverside Resort & Conference Centre is beautifully set within its
surroundings and blends within the space and natural setting. Utilizing a simple modern
design with easy, streamlined roofs, the buildings were designed to enhance and fit the
activities around it. The interiors, also, are soft and inviting with warm earth tones.
